I took a quick trip down to Squaw Creek this morning. I was surprised at how little snow there is down there. Even though there is no open water, there were still several eagles (immature) around and a few geese. This hawk was very patient and let me get very close - after about 100 shots, I got bored and moved on. I've got a couple additional poses on my blog scenicaperture.com/. Please take a look and leave a comment so I know you were there. Thanks Taken with Pentax PENTAX K-7,Pentax smc A* 600mm f/5.6 ED IF 1/640s f/5.6 iso200
